Songs For You From Home III “Is My Heart What It Will Always Be?’

FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Here is one of the first run throughs. I like the energy and overall approach on this performance – I hope you do too 🙂

Lyrics:
Am I the sum of all that I’ve done?
Is what I am now the only truth?
All of the goodness can it be undone?
When your skeletons come to roost?

Is my heart what it will always be –
just a muscle pumping blood – so I can breathe?
Have our gods become mortal -mortar and stone – replaced by flesh and bone?

I want to be better I want to feel whole
There’s something insatiable that won’t let me be
Is it evolution to leave what you owe?
The sins of mother and father to be carried until we are free

Is my heart what it will always be –
just a muscle pumping blood – so I can breathe?
Have our gods become mortal -mortar and stone – replaced by flesh and bone?

I want to touch it – hold it close in my hands
So I can truly understand
I want to eat from the tree
If I am blind – how can I see?

Is my heart what it will always be –
just a muscle pumping blood – so I can breathe?
Have our gods become mortal -mortar and stone – replaced by flesh and bone?

Live at Market Block Books (FREE DOWNLOAD)

FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

Here they are! -FREE- & just for you. 🙂

I hope you enjoy listening to these 16 tracks, all recorded live from my February 2020 show at Market Block Books in Troy, New York.

For your convenience, I have provided a number of different download options (choose the one that’s best for you).

Stay healthy and stay inspired!

Download right from my good old website!

These downloads are directly from my website. The MP3 file option is lighter and will download in a few minutes. Click on the downloaded ZIP folder to extract the files – move extracted folder containing all the song files where-ever you like. The .WAV option could take up to 5 minutes but might be worth your wait for a somewhat better sound quality. Both file formats sound great! 🙂

If you prefer, you can also download via my Dropbox site, which is also perfectly safe and easy. *Please note: you don’t need Dropbox to download the files.

You can preview/play the songs below before starting the download.

Live at Market Block Books

FacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmailFacebooktwitterredditpinterestlinkedinmail

I thought today (Memorial Day) would be a good day to share some live recordings from my show at Market Block Books in Troy, New York – this past February. I hope you enjoy and possibly listen while sitting down to have dinner. A (FREE DOWNLOAD) of this show will be available in the coming days.

On a side note: I took a drive downtown today to take a few promotional pictures for when these songs get distributed internationally and how apropos that there is a World War II memorial right in front. Sometimes timing resonates with good intent 🙂
